I was thinking about installing a Yoshimura slip on exhaust on my Kawasaki 650R Ninja. I hear that it’s a lot lighter than the stock exhaust. Will the Yoshimura slip on give me more power? Can I install without any modifications to the engine?

Yeah it’s just a slip on. It will give a better tuned sound, rev, idling etc etc. And about 2-4 extra hp. That’s about it.
Slip ons are usualy for enhancing noise. (You want your bike to sound better) And yeah, you can install without and mods to the engine. Slip ons are simple and easy.
A full exhaust system is a different story tho
