Suzuki GB PLC launched its first ‘Bike of the Month’ promotion this month, as the Japanese subsidiary rolled out a new initiative that not only passes discounts of up to 60% on genuine parts onto customers, but from September will offer them the chance to vote for their chosen bike of the month offer too.
Launching this month with the 2001, 2002 and 2003 model year GSX-R600 models, the promotion covers no-less than 123 genuine parts, offering savings on parts ranging from spark plugs to radiators, that itself offers a reduction of over £160.
With the Bandit 1200 (01 – 05 models) due to follow in September, Suzuki GB will put the initiative in the hands of its customers in the autumn, with a facility on the official website where customers can vote for their preferred bike of the month offer.
Suzuki GB PLC’s Tim Davies, commented, “With this new initiative we are pleased to give customers of older machines a reason to choose the best possible parts to keep their bike maintained correctly. Come this autumn, we will put the decision of our next parts promotions in the hands of our customers, through an online vote process and therefore really giving our customers what they want.”
With many customers opting to hang onto machines a little longer than normal in the current economic climate, clearly the best way to keep a bike in prime health is to choose genuine.
The GSX-R600 offer runs until the end of August and customers are advised to visit www.suzuki-gb.co.uk for further news and offers.
