APRILIA: FUNDING GRANTED
Aprilia is pleased to announce the company has secured a business financing agreement with the pool of Banks whom they have been holding discussions with over the last few weeks. Interbanca and Caretti & Associati supported Aprilia in the negotiation process.
The agreement grants new credit lines for a total amount of 30 million Euros and extends the effectiveness of the existing ones. With this new deal the global amount of credit lines granted to the company is around 180 million Euros.
As a result of this agreement, Aprilia will be able to resume full production and satisfy the high demand for bikes, coming from the marketplace, as we approach the important part of the selling season.
Aprilia is the second largest manufacturer of scooters and motorbikes in Europe, with a range of products from 50cc mopeds to 1000cc superbikes. This positive outcome will enable Aprilia to concentrate on its industrial plan and continue its growth by exploiting its exceptional know-how and brand popularity.
The industrial plan, phase one, means reorganisation to ensure cost savings and increased operational efficiency. Followed by phase two, to secure investors, either financial or industrial, to ensure adequate resources to support the growth of the prestigious brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Laverda.
