SUZUKI High Octane Entertainment for
GSX-R Fans
If You've Got It, Flaunt It
SUZUKI
is calling a family gathering for its famous GSX-R range of
Super-sport race replicas at Brands Hatch this summer
and it promises to be one helluva party.
Around 10,000 GSX-R fans from all across Europe are expected
to descend on the famous track in Kent on Friday August 3,
just one-week after it hosts a round of the World Superbike
Championship.
The GSX-R is known for its extreme performance and ability
to leave the competition far behind. Keeping true to the GSX-R
brand values, this Festival will leave all other biker parties
in its tracks as it celebrates the GSX-R history, which stretches
back to 1985.
The Festival is open to all, but will have special appeal
to GSX-R owners, Suzuki fans and riders of high performance
Superbikes. Anyone with an appreciation for the GSX-R and
its awesome on road and track performance is welcome.
GSX-R riders visiting the festival will be invited to enjoy
parade laps around the famous Brands Hatch Indy circuit. Numbers
will be limited, so riders will be encouraged to register
early on the day.
The performance junkies who visit the Festival will get their
fix at the concours event, which will feature some of the
most spectacular GSX-R bikes ever built. You can expect everything
from chrome laden Superbikes to turbo-charged specials in
this line-up.
There will also be live music on stage, retail stalls, celebrity
interviews, off-road riding with the DRZ Sensation and special
demonstration laps of the track by UK British Superbike Championship
riders John Crawford on his GSX-R750, John Crockford on his
GSX-R1000 and Karl Harris on his GSX-R600. James Hutchins,
the Junior Superstock rider, will also be on hand to give
encouragement to young riders hoping to make it in racing.
The Suzuki Team Performance Riding School will be holding
classes to give expert tuition on GSX-R600 bikes and advice
to budding racetrack stars.
To cap the day off, there will be displays from European Stunt
Champion Kevin Carmichael taking the crowds breath away as
he defies the laws of physics on his specially modified GSX-R1000.
And thats just the start. Lots more activities and big
name celebrities will be revealed closer to the event
so watch this space.
Tickets cost £8 each in advance or £10 on the
