SUZUKI LAUNCHES V-STROM 1000 GRAND TOURING AND 650 TOURING

Suzuki V-Strom Touring Motorcycle
Suzuki is poised to further boost the Adventure Sports category with the launch of two limited-edition machines: the V-Strom 1000 Grand Touring and V-Strom 650 Touring.

The Adventure Sports category is one of the fastest growing areas of new-motorcycle sales in the UK. Year-to-date registration figures show almost 35% per cent increase in sales in this segment. Suzuki's Special Edition V-Strom models have been designed to respond to this specific change in buying trends.

Powered by the same proven V-twin motor as the popular SV650, the V-Strom 650 has been strongly praised by motorcycle journalists for its comfort and user-friendliness. The specially adapted Touring version offers even greater versatility, equipped as it is with a 48-litre top-case, heater-grip assembly, protective hand-guards and centre stand all for £5,499.

Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Grand Touring Motorcycle
The V-Strom 1000 Grand Touring takes the Adventure Sport concept a Journey or two further by offering a motorcycle that is both touring-ready and affordable. It features a 48-litre top-case, two 35-litre side cases, a centre stand and heated grips. This ready-to-tour model carries an on-the-road price of just £6,999.

Further increasing the attractiveness of the V-Strom Touring and Grand Touring, Suzuki has introduced a special low-rate finance scheme from launch. Buyers can benefit from nought per cent finance over 12 months, 0.99% over 24 months or 1.99% over 36 months With a 25% deposit you can own a DL1000 Grand Touring for less than £155 per month or a DL650 Touring for less than £122 per month - over 36 months.

The V-Strom 650 Touring will be available in the UK from mid-November; joined by its stable-mate, the V-Strom 1000 Grand Touring from mid December.
