Kawasaki’s new Ninja makes light of its awesome power

The long-awaited Ninja ZX-10R from Kawasaki can only be described as the ultimate supersport machine with a class-busting power-to-weight ratio and awesome muscle.

The ZX-10R is a slimline operator making the most of an extremely lightweight and compact chassis but with all the bite of a powerful engine with an incredibly compact In-Line Four that is a veritable showcase of advanced supersport technology.

Kawasaki have designed a compact all-aluminium frame of 600-class weight and dimensions and incorporated an incredibly tight engine package featuring a sophisticated automotive-style fuel injection system.

A figure-hugging tank design and short wheelbase is combined with a long swingarm to give the ZX-10R incredibly nimble handling performance – on track or twisty roads.

And like its brothers in the Ninja family, the ZX-10R is steeped in Kawasaki’s race tradition with aggressive styling and a riding position ideally tailored to allow the rider to take full advantage.

The Ninja ZX-10R will be unveiled to the public at the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan next month.
