NEW OWNERS - PIAGGIO BUYS APRILIA GROUP

At the end of December, Piaggio finalised its acquisition of the Aprilia group, making it the largest manufacturer of powered two wheelers in Europe.

From 50cc scooters up to 1200cc motorcycles, the new group will have an extensive product range, one that will enjoy a 24% market share in Europe.

This is good news for the Aprilia Group, which after its financial difficulties in 2004 will now see the group attain stability.  It will also be business as usual for Moto Guzzi, which plans to introduce two new models this year.

PRICES INCLUDE ON THE ROAD CHARGES

For 2005, Moto Guzzi prices have been revised and now include on the road charges.  This means customers are left in no doubt as to exactly what they will pay when they purchase a new Moto Guzzi motorcycle.

All new Moto Guzzi bikes also come with 2 years unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty plus 2 years roadside assistance and recovery throughout most of Europe.  For brochures and dealer details call 01293 823890.
