"We get a lot of people who are planning to rent motorcycles in Dallas, Texas and ride the Route 66 highway to LaGuna Seca raceway in Salinas, California," said owner Charles McMurray,"It's a great way to see the Grand Prix, the Grand Canyon and the American Southwest all at once."
To meet demand, Sport Ryder Rentals has put together a special package for riders traveling to the race. The daily mileage for each motorcycle has been increased from 250 to 400 miles, and saddlebags are included with each motorcycle. All motorcycles are prepared for long distance rental including new tires, full engine service, tire repair kits with each motorcycle and 24 hour roadside assistance.
As always, helmet, jacket, gloves and liability insurance are provided for each motorcycle that is rented, and Sport Ryder Rentals can pick you up at area hotels or at DFW or Dallas Love Field (DAL) airports.
Sport Ryder Rentals has also put together a special page on their website with detailed maps and a ride route to go to the race. There are links on the web site to make reservations at hotels along the route as well as day-by-day driving directions and tourist destinations.
