Dealing with the Discerning Kawasaki Biker
D & D Motorcycles are revving up to offer bike enthusiasts in County Down the full range of Kawasaki stock after being appointed as an official dealer for the company.
As one of only four members of the Kawasaki dealership family in Northern Ireland, D & D cater for a wide range of bikers – from the first-timers to the more experienced riders.
So it is only fitting that the showroom has something for everyone and, according to owner David Milliken, Kawasaki fit the bill perfectly.
David boasts more than 20 years of car trading and around eight years of dealing in motorbikes. He favours Kawasaki because they offer a comprehensive and clear range at the forefront of the market.
He explained: “I’ve noticed the quality and range being offered by Kawasaki get better and better in the last couple of years. I have been working alongside another dealer in the area and they recommended me to Kawasaki as a new dealer based simply on my selling success in recent years.”
“Customers are not always out and out sports bike enthusiasts. We have a very varied customer base. Some may be looking for their first bike, others may be returning to riding after years away from a bike. I believe Kawasaki has a clearly defined range – a designated bike for everyone.”
David works with one other salesman at his showroom that holds around 50 bikes. He has one parts manager and two mechanics with an apprentice assisting. He also has a driver to deliver and collect bikes.
Kawasaki District Manager, Les Field said: “We are delighted to welcome D & D Motorcycles to our team of dealers. David has done a sterling job for us, and we believe he and his team will offer customers in County Down the service they need when looking for their Kawasaki bike.”
