SUNNY TAIL END

BMF TAIL END SHOW - 18th & 19th September, East of England Showground, Peterborough

The BMF’s end of season Tail End show once more lived up to expectations despite the rain on Saturday, maintaining its traditional end of season party atmosphere.

Attracting 28,500 people, (slightly down on last year due to the weather), Tail End, sponsored by Carole Nash Insurance provided a weekend of activities and bargain hunting.

The main arena featured UK FMX, doing their stuff with their amazing freestyle motocross tricks while moto-ball, quite simply, football on bikes, provided a fresh perspective on the ‘beautiful game’!.

Adding a bit of extra horse power, the 'Knights of Royal England', put on a display of medieval jousting and entertainment. It didn’t involve bikes, but that didn’t seem to matter to the people filling the stands to watch and enjoy the show.

Involving bikes in a big way though was the ever-popular Moped Enduro and 100 Percent Proof proved the winners on the day. Traders were kept busy as always as were the scores of BMF club stands.

More winners were the hundreds of BMF members who had the added bonus of exclusive camping facilities over the weekend with entertainment from some top bands. All in all, a fitting end to the BMF’s highly successful events season.

Next event, the BMF Show 21st-22nd May 2005.
