New Releases - Review
Kawasaki KX65

MODEL CONCEPT
The year 2000 marks the 16th year since the introduction
of the highly successful KX60. The U.S. market for motocrossers
continues to grow, and models in the KX series are enjoying
strong sales. Until recently, there has been little competition
for Kawasaki in the 60 cc class. However, with the recent
release of competing mini-motocrossers, that situation
is changing, and Kawasaki has been working feverishly
to ensure that like their bigger brothers, the smaller
KXers stay on top.
The result: the new KX65. Since parents buy mini-motocross
bikes for their kids to introduce them to the world of
motocross, mini-motocross bikes play an important role
in building future brand loyalty. So Kawasaki gave these
small bikes some big attention. After all, by enhancing
the appeal and winning potential of these introductory
models, many more new riders who enjoy success on KX machines
during the formative stages of their careers will be wanting
to stay with a winning formula when they are ready to
progress.
So for this group of budding motocrossers, Kawasaki introduces
the newest Green Screamie, the dynamic new KX65. Tricked
to the max with works technology from the bigger KXers
and with the same aggro styling, the KX65 not only shares
their winning look but also packs the same winning performance
potential. With features like a hard-hitting liquid-cooled
64cm3 engine, with stronger low- and mid-range performance
and a wider powerband. Long-travel front suspension, Bottom-Link
Uni-Trak rear suspension and an all new race-developed
chassis. All making the KX65 one serious racing machine
for kids who are really looking to ride like a pro.
The all new KX65. A winning head start. |
