Support Your Rights to Our Greenlanes
Do you use Greenlanes?
Biketrade urge all greenlane riders to contact their
MPs and ask them to fight a law which if passed could have
bikes banned from some or all rural routes.
There will soon be a final reading of the Countryside
Rights of Way Bill in Parliament which, if passed will give
local Authorities the power to re-classify roads used as Public
Paths (or RUPPs). If the Bill is passed local Authorities/Councils
will have the power to ban motor vehicles from them.
Biketrade has been in contact with the Land Access Rights
Association (LARA) who represent motorcyclists and 4x4 drivers.
With LARAs' consent we have added two features to this page.
Firstly you can print a copy of the amendments to the CRoW
Bill, and secondly we have placed a link on the bottom of
this page to allow you to send the information to your friends
via email.
LARA has kindly provided us with a copy of their proposals
so that you can print it directly on-line. Click here NOW!
For further advice on the above proposals, and on any other
matters concerning
the new Bill and its effects on motor sport and recreation,
please contact LARA HQ - details below.
