Classic
Bikes
The Spirit of the 60's Classic Motorcycle Rally will be stopping
off for lunch at The Helicopter Museum on Sunday 12 May 2002.
350 bikes are expected around 12 noon and will be on site
for approximately 2 and half hours.
It will be a brilliant opportunity for bike enthusiasts to
see rare and lesser-known examples of bikes produced between
1954 and 1972. Approximately 350 entries have been received
by the organisers and include the old British Bikes: Norton,
Triumph, BSA, Vincent and Velocette.
The revenue raised from this annual rally will aid the Dorset
and Somerset Air Ambulance Charity.
Light refreshments will be available at The Helicopter Museum.
Normal admission charges, into the world's largest helicopter
collection apply.
The Helicopter Museum is located on the outskirts of Weston
Super Mare, and is just off junction 21 M5.
The Helicopter Museum is open from 10am-6pm Wednesday to Sunday
(10am-4pm Nov-Mar) throughout the year and everyday during
Easter, Bank, and School Holidays.
